About the Lean the F*ck Out podcast
How life is supposed to go is presented to us early on. You go to school, get a job, land a partner, raise some kids, move up the ladder between 9 to 5, earn the money, buy the things. You keep to the path. And do it with a clean house, stylish wardrobe, satisfied and supported partner, overachieving model children and a smile on your face. And don’t forget to lean in. If it feels off, don’t worry, dear, there’s a pill for that.

Whoa, hold the f*ck up.
There has to be another way.
Gretchen DeVault, a designer, musician and maker of cool sh*t, and Tera Wozniak Stortz, queer woman, writer and coach, are forging their own paths. They’re sharing their journey and are introducing the world to others who are creating their own way of living via the Lean the F*ck Out podcast.
Gretchen and Tera are fascinated with people who are able to create their own path, whether they are entrepreneurs, living an alternative lifestyle, letting their art lead their way, breaking from their own family traditions, or carving out their life in another way outside of the mainstream. Lean the F*ck Out brings you individuals that have created their own way of living and making cool sh*t happen so that we can learn and grow together.
Each person on the podcast gets vulnerable, shares their lessons, and offers inspiration for other individuals to lean out and do their own thing.
Lean the F*ck Out with us as we learn to trust ourselves, take risks, set goals for our lives, and find our community.

Tera Wozniak Stortz
Tera is a queer writer and coach. After decades of living the heteronormative “perfect” life, Tera decided to lean out, getting divorced and building a queerer life. Today, Tera is writing, running the Queer Divorce Club, and leading peer coaching circles for individuals looking to build the lives they want outside of the mainstream. She lives in West Michigan with her partner Carlie, their three boys, two cats, and two bunnies. Tera and her family love taking outdoor adventures, flowing around a bonfire, playing hide and seek on the regular, and occasionally raising monarch butterflies in their bathroom.
